Central Region Chair Marcus King is a Psychology major who attends Allan Hancock College.
He is pursuing an MD in Psychiatry and PhD in Social Psychology. King also serves as Vice President for the Associated Students of Allan Hancock and as an at-large Senator for the Student Senate for California Community Colleges.
"I believe if I have a voice, then I must use it." said King. "There are far too many issues that concern us all that receive no action behind them in order to bring us our desired results."
King, also a poet, adds "I am eager to utilize my skills, as well as refine them in any way I can as a part of a great team of past, present, and future leaders who have not only ears that listen, but hands, feet, and voices that go out to make something happen."
